Prof.
Dr. Zong Qiang Mao, Professor of Tsinghua
University, a native of China, received his Ph.D from the University
of Bradford, UK, in 1993.
Prof. Dr.
Z.Q. Mao’s professional area is in hydrogen energy, including
hydrogen energy practices and hydrogen stratagem research; fuel cell,
including PEMFC, MCFC, SOFC. Prof. Dr. Z.Q.Mao has published more
than 150 scientific papers, 4 books and several Patents. He was a
Chief Scientist for the first China National key Hydrogen Fundamental
Project (973 program) in the years 2000-2005. Many high-ranking
hydrogen scientists in China are from his group.
Prof. Dr.
Z.Q. Mao is Chair of the China Association for Hydrogen Energy
(CAHE), vice director of China Association for Renewable Energy
(CARE), Vice President of International Association for Hydrogen
Energy (IAHE). He is the deputy editor of both Acta Energiae Solaris
Sinica and Chinese Journal of Power Sources . He is the experts for
International Partnership for Hydrogen Economy (IPHE) and China
Minister of Science and Technology (MOST) at present.
